My Commitment to Sustainability and Ethical Practices

I am a small, independent creative business based in Scotland, striving to be as eco-friendly and ethical as possible.

Thoughtfully Designed

My designs begin life as hand-drawn illustrations, sketches or ideas developed by me here in Scotland, before being brought to life using a combination of traditional and digital creative processes.

I believe in keeping the human, hands-on element at the heart of what I create.

Children’s Safety is Paramount

Where my products are designed for or used by children, I take children’s privacy and safety seriously.

I do not intentionally feature identifiable children in my product images or on my social media.

I also believe children shouldn’t be walking adverts for brands, so I aim to create products that encourage creativity and individuality rather than relying on visible branding or known characters.

Photography

While I currently, reluctantly, use AI-generated model images in some product photography, I ensure these do not depict identifiable real people.

As my business grows, I plan to replace these with real photography from proper photoshoots, featuring real people responsibly and respectfully and without unnecessarily revealing anyone’s identity.

Paper Goods

My paper goods are shipped from my studio in Scotland where possible, using recycled or recyclable packaging wherever practical.

Some products may instead be printed and fulfilled by a print-on-demand or manufacturing partner. Where this is the case, products are produced only when ordered, helping to avoid unnecessary stock and waste.

Digital Products and Print-at-Home Resources

My digital products and play-based resources are designed to be used digitally or printed at home where appropriate.

Where printing is required, I provide guidance to help customers print thoughtfully and reduce unnecessary paper and ink waste while still getting the most from the product.

Print-on-Demand Products

Where I use print-on-demand services, products are made when they are ordered rather than being produced and stored in large quantities.

This helps me avoid unnecessary stock and waste and allows me to operate a small business without maintaining large amounts of physical inventory.
